Welcome, new Falcons! Start your 西雅图 Pacific University journey off right with 取向 — an exciting and informative three-day experience that will connect you to the SPU community and all of the resources we have to offer. You’ll have the opportunity to check out campus, meet your classmates and current 学生, and learn more about what it means to be a Falcon.
All of our new 学生 (both first-year and transfers) are required to participate in 取向. Students’ families are encouraged to participate in the sessions created specifically for them. Administrators and faculty members will share about our academic programs, student services, and ways they can support their student’s transition to SPU.
In addition to orientation for all incoming SPU 学生, newly admitted F-1 international 学生 必须 attend International Student 取向. For new Fall 2024 admits, International Student 取向 is scheduled for Friday 9月27日, 2024, from 9 a.m. 到1p.m. International 学生 moving into residence halls may move in: Friday 9月27日 from 1 to 3 p.m. Please contact the International Student Services Office at iss@laolitaohuo.com if you would like more information.
Beginning on the evening of Friday, 9月27日, preservation work is scheduled to occur on the nearby Ballard Bridge, closing it for the weekend. Travel over the Ballard Bridge is a popular traffic option for those seeking to travel between 西雅图 Pacific University and north 西雅图, and is likely to cause delays. Please seek alternative routes and prepare for higher levels of traffic than usual. More details about the closure and possible detours can be found on the 西雅图 Department of Transportation website.
